RecommendedWe have been to American Family Care a few times now, and every time has been great! Today, we were checked in, seen by the nicest MD, received shots, and had our meds picked up all within an hour!
When we took my infant on Sunday the doctor prescribed antibiotics without saying what was wrong with him and when we told him that he had been coughing a lot and sounded really congested and choking he didn’t even listen to his chest. He said that he needed to quit consuming dairy and that I needed to quit drinking milk since I’m breastfeeding. We waited 2 hours for him to tell us that.
Waited outside for them to open only to find out that there’s no doctor or NP on duty so they couldn’t do anything to help anyone who was sick. Why even open the doors?! Why not post a sign before everyone sat there and wasted their time? This place is a joke.
I have been here since 10 am, it is now 12:22 and while I am no longer in the waiting room, I still have not been seen. When I came a few weeks ago, they were not seeing patients because there wasn't a doctor. Two people left from the waiting room it was taking so long.
When this facility opened I was so excited. I went to my first visit there and everyone was so fast and nice. This was a facility I would recommend to any and everyone I personally knew. They had an amazing doctor their named Dr. Nelder who was always so wonderful and quick to help. The hours were always good working a 12hour shift I was able to go to the doctor. The experience was wonderful from beginning to end. I was nervous about bringing my 4 year old, but the nerves quickly went away. They were so calm and patient with him. We will definitely come back and can't recommend enough!
Been in pain for days, finally went to get help. I just wasted $200.00, I didn't even have. I call back next day, but they want to charge me another 50 bucks.
