Recently visited in July. They charged my card on file before claim has been processed with insurance. Can't reach billing on the phone and the voicemail is full. Spoke with person in office who just told me managers were out all this week. She said she would send an email to billing and ask them to call me.
During a recent visit my blood pressure was not taken. I was advised my BP was 130/90. I announced my blood pressure was never taken. I was taken our of the room to get a reading. it was not taken correctly. Once back in the room I advised practitioner that my BP was taken at UAB less then 20 mins of arriving to AFC. I was then escorted out of the room where my BP was taken again with a reading of 158/100. Paperwork given to me reflects the 130/90 "number" that was dictated. Care instructions: Dash Diet! RecommendedThe visit took about an hour. It is better than going to the ER.I just hate not having insurance its one flat rate of $175 .
Forestdale location: I saw a nurse practitioner within 20 minutes. I was thinking this is great. I'll be out if here within 30 minutes. Then it took another hour to get 2 shots that were ordered. That was after I stuck my head out the door to ask what the holdup was? Ridiculous! Then I get to the pharmacy 35 minutes after I was told they sent prescriptions and pharmacy had not received until right as I got there. No excuses. The place wasn't even that busy.
