So the company abruptly closed all locations across ***************** Friday April 24th 2023. Firing 288+ employees at the corporate headquarters located in ******* **. There are no ways to submit payments in person or via online as American Financial is also closed *the bank owned by American Car Center. Many were left without jobs, and those of us currently financing through the company doesnt know what our future holds
Seeing that American car center is all over the news and is closed down for good my concern is where do we suppose to make our car payments because there is nowhere to do so!
I tried to get information on how much I owe on the car, to my surprise the office is closed. The website is down and they fired everyone. On top of I am still waiting on repairs to be made to my vehicle, Im being charged an extra ***** for insurance (I have full coverage) I am supposed to pay my car note tomorrow someone tell me where?!?!
American ******** is an awful place to purchase a vehicle from they get your money and not able to get your plates for vehicle. They are a bunch of scammers and most of their vehicles ain't worth nothing. I was in a desperate need for a vehicle and they told me that I was approved for a certain vehicle. I was paying them $250 every two weeks plus other fees. They kept saying that every time I made a payment that I was still behind. Forged my signature lied about down payment telling me I still owe a down payment and I have no tags 40k for a 2018 *** and when I called saying Ill bring it back they said it would be voluntary repo I said you told me I had 30 days to bring it back and she replied no thats if some wrong with **** is the price the forgery all of it they scammed me and thousands of other people
American Car Center and its affiliated financing company, American Financial is a complete fraud and anyone who is looking for a vehicle or financing that vehicle should look elsewhere. I regret so much buying a car from here. I bought a car Oct 2022. We are not in Feb 2023 and that car has been in the shop so many times in the past 5 months, every time I take it to the shop its something new. Two weeks after me getting the car, the car was already in the shop. *** contacted them about the car having issues and they refuse to help, blaming someone else, thats the financing companys fault. This Car dealership are definitely fraudulent, taking from the poor who is I need of a vehicle and trying to build their credit. Just to find out after almost 2yrs in April that Ill never own my vehicle is BS and down right shame.
