I have had my car for nearly 4 years now. Purchased it Sep of 2016. I checked a receipt from May of 2017 and I had 16,459 left to pay. Doing the match, I should be a little under $2,000 now. when I called for my payoff earlier this year, I was told I was right at 6,000. When I called last week, I was told it would come from the title department. I got a letter from the title department saying I owed $8,000 still. I really wish there was an option to leave zero stars!!!!! THIS PLACE IS RUN IN MEMPHIS BY A BUNCH OF SCAMMERS! THEY OVERCHARGE FOR THE PRICE OF VEHICLES BY AT LEAST 2-3x the amount! I am currently paying $25,000 for a used Kia Soul ......! My check engine light came on and they said there was nothing they could do although whether the car runs or not they will still want their payments! The most vile, ignorant, unprofessional customer service i've ever had to deal with. Specifically the Tennessee branch of this god awful company. A few in particular are just repulsive. Tejuana ************* being the most recent. I am a co-signer on an account for my college son. Sometimes I have to call and make payments or arrangements on his behalf. They sold me a car four months ago without telling me they don't have the title. So I'm paying 19000 total for a car that isn't even really mine. Told me I have to wait until the exact car or a car of the exact price comes to their lot so they can trade it out. Unreal. Filing a lawsuit.

Terrible place to get a car. Terrible customer service. Terrible all around.. They are scammers... BBB needs to shut down this entire business... 500 today drive it away. Lol what a joke. I guarantee if a ******************* scamming people like that... People would have been shut this place down

When I initially purchased my vehicle from American Car Center at the *********** Mobile AL location, the experience was pleasant and the process was a relatively easy one in regards to customer service. However, over time of having the vehicle I purchased from them in my possession, there have been times I had to utilize their warranty. I am very pleased with the car i bought from American Car Center. Don went above & beyond to get me the car i wanted, not the car He wanted me to have. This is the first dealership ive been too who actually got me what i wanted. Thank you guys!!

Where do I start worst company ever to do business with. When going to purchase car the sales people tell you anything to get you in car and later you find out how terrible they really are. Car not due every two weeks and they tell you up front you can set up monthly to pay once a month not true. When there are 3 weeks in a month you pay triple car notes. We had a total of 7 or 8 different account manager's who was rude except for maybe one who later left company. When trying to trade care in you find out its a lease with ow... read more
