I am appalled at the horrible experience with this company. I have spoken to six different representatives with the last one being a Manager. These representatives are useless with them disconnecting me never calling me back even after I relay to them that if we get disconnected to please call me back and giving me inaccurate information. The time wait on hold is over an hour with a few times being 44 or higher in line to speak to a representative. I never finalized the life insurance. I told them I didn't want to go through with it and they took a payment out of my account. I then called them and cancelled it. I had to sign a form and send back to them, so the next month they took out another payment without my consent. Now the excuse is my signature don't match , we did it online so what signature. This company is a scam
This company is working with and contracting with agents who skirt the DO NOT CALL LIST law by using robo calls to call with hidden numbers and then being handed off to one of their agents. Read the responses from American Amicable Life . They come across as a picked last in phys ed ***** clinging to a technicality in a rule book or a crooked lawyer with a very thin plausible deniability claim. Don't trust them. They provide no friendly customer support and even call you a liar. Don't need them.
You do their job for them and if you miss a deadline they close your case. They provided no information when I contacted their company a year ago to report my moms death. They didn't tell me if she even had a policy. They claim the process could take up to 5 years, that's a lie. They put all the administrative work between you and the medical practitioners. Unsolicited phone calls for "final expense" insurance led back to this group and an agent named ****** (female) who phoned after disconnection from 877-878-7XX7. This group contracts with agencies in ***** who make unsolicited phone calls to people in violation of ***************** FCC Do Not Call List. What integrity rests with a group so desperate that they would contract with a group who initiates unsolicited phone calls in violation of ** law?
I have been with Amicable Life Insurance in **** for 2 years. I had the lost of a loved one in December 2022. Turned in all required claim documents paying for next day in January 2023. I was informed over the phone numerous times that all of my documentation was complete and had been expedited so that my claim could be processed. A salesman from a company ********* appeared on my doorstep stating I had returned an interest card I received in the mail sometime a month or so ago. The card returned stated Please RUSH me information on the state-regulated program to pay for my final expenses and FREE Final Wishes Planning Guide and Will Kit He proceeded to urge me to purchase life insurance through his company. They contacted me and my husband stating they represented my mortgage lender and offered mortgage insurance. They were very misleading! I was given the impression we would only have one fee to pay on a certain day of the month. Little did I know they would start double charging my account any time they wanted. I do not understand how this company is still in business! I called my mortgage lender and they confirmed they in fact do not represent them.
