I'm literally crying writing this review. I have had the most horrible experience in my life with this mortgage company and I'm probably going to loss my home because they lied and never ever really tried to assist me. I was going through a loss mitigation program and provided all the documentation that was required. I call everyday for several weeks to see if anything else was needed. This company is a joke to get any direct answers. I was on hold with the insurance department for one hour and eight minutes to get a busy signal. So I called back to the customer service, hence "Customer Service" to let them I was having a problem getting through to the insurance department. Can I speak with a manager of course the manager can't not answer the question. She would have to send me to the insurance department. AmeriHome Mortgage = Proactive Customer Service! I was surprised when AmeriHome contacted me to review my loan and then helped me secure a better interest rate that became available. I was contacted by Justin Dennis. Justin is a very patient professional. He answered all my questions with detailed explanations and confirmed that I understood everything concerning my "remote" refinance. They have an automated phone system to pay your bill. they are now charging to use that. trying to make more money off of people that are struggling. I will be looking for a new financial institute for my home loan!

Excellent customer service and easy processing. You are not just another file to this company they treat you respect. I have now closed on my house and it's the 2nd mortgage with Amerihome.

David & Ken made the entire streamline process very smooth and easy to understand. Every step was conveyed through email and also follow up calls to make sure we understood everything. If we ever decide to refinance again David & Ken will be our first calls!

My mortgage had been sold to Amerihome and was paid off 05/21/19 by a refinance. My account history shows the escrow refund being made 06/13/19, as I had expected. When the check didn't show up, they told me I had to wait 5 business days (from 06/13) for processing plus 7-10 business days for mail before they would even think about it. July 2 they told me they would initiate a stop/reissue but that couldn't happen until July 11.
