I have to say that Amerihome has the worst customer service and system. They took more than 2 months to process and send my home insurance payment. I have to call a lot of times and no one was able to help it was the same answer over and over again. That the insurance company didn't send the invoice which was a lie because I had proof that my insurance representative sent it to them by mail, fax and also by email. BEWARE! TERRIBLE! The first month of our loan they misapplied our payment. We have spent countless hours on the phone with customer service to rectify this and even sent proof from our bank that our payment was cashed by AmeriHome. It’s been 9 MONTHS and they still have not credited our account. They continue to add late charges to our account monthly for their mistake of misapplying our payment in addition to stating we are behind on our mortgage payment. AmeriHome decided to pay mine and someone else's taxes with my escrow account. Then tried to collect the mistake from me. They even put a delinquency on my account after telling me I didn't have to pay until they fixed their mistake. It ruined my credit and I can't transfer companies because they screwed it up so bad. They do not answer the phone and live chat will disconnect you. THIS IS THE WORST MORTGAGE COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!!!!!
