Customer service is horrible, I was just hung up on by their representative. I had a mortgage with Goldwater Bank that was bought out by Amerihome, They were very slow in providing the payoff amount to the new lender Rocket Mortgage. They collected my property taxes from me on 1st of June, July and August, but they did not pay them to WA State dept of revenue until well after the due date of Sept 30th, I was considered past due when they finally paid my taxes just before the State reported me as a delinquent tax payer. This company saddens me. We’ve Paid on time every month for 2 years that we have lived in our home. Sept 19th 2019 we flooded and literally lost everything we owned. Amerihome mortgage is so greedy that they wouldn’t even give us one month of a break. They said they could hold payments for 3 months and then we’d owe those 3 months all at once. We are a young couple with a 4 year old just starting out so giving them 4,000 in one month is impossible especially since we are trying to build our lives back. I am disgusted with th... read more

They're inability to post payments properly is totally unacceptable. I recommend that you never do business with them. My most precious asset, my home, is not completely secure because they can not apply payments properly. To make matters worse no one I've spoken to at the company thinks it is important. They act like I am worried about nothing and they will fix the problem when they get around to it. This is the most ridiculous company I have ever known. The online bill payment is just ridiculous. I set up an automatic deduction every month. For some reason, they will take the money out and then return it back to my bank. After a few months of doing this, they tell me that I have not been paying on time and now I have to use a certified check. I can make a certified check and send it to the address they tell me. Two weeks later they tell me they did not receive the check because the address was incorrect. The address the... read more

AmeriHome consistently applies my checks to someone else's account and attempts to charge late fees when confronted with cashed checks, received on time, they made a claim that another customer applied it to the other customer's account. Right. Next they will try to sell me the Brooklyn Bridge. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau against AmeriHome Also, I have reported them to my primary lender and suggested they use another company instead.

This company intentionally sits on my checks when I send them in to process them late. Then I owe a late fee. I asked to set up automatic payments on a day that is prior to the late date and they refused. I wish they had never bought my mortgage.

This is the absolute worst company to work with. They bought my mortgage contract in 2018. Everything was fine for about a year. I did not know to homestead my house. (Not Amerihomes fault) But because my taxes were about $1000 higher than they expected they almost doubled my mortgage payments and have increased my escrow exponentially. They did not notify me of the change in 1/19. They told me that once I homestead my house and turn in all the paper work my payments would go back down to the original price point.
