Oh my word! If you are work or world weary this is the place for you not a more modern health retreat. This place has an ethereal, calm air about it. The house has so many old features and charm, the cosy roaring fires on a chilly night, beautiful grounds, breath-taking views in my room overlooking the gardens. Facilities a pool, yoga studio, INFRARED sauna (I was very excited by that). Also, wonderful massages/treatments available. This place has a discussing attitude. Wellness comes from within... not interested anymore than cash. Compasion is key in recovery, I'll be reporting to the heads of the industry. Not fit for purpose. They don't obviously understand their own industry. Avoid. Joke.
Amchara Health Retreat in Somerset is the ideal place to rest, recuperate, reset your healthy lifestyle goals. Having had such a wonderful week there, I have reset my approach to my diet and exercise regime to being far more nutritional and positive. Really caring staff, expert advice, beautiful location. My stay has benefitted me enormously.
Pillows were a bit tired. Room was very comfortable with good heating as the windows were draughty- I was there during a storm. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was very good and satisfying. I was never hungry. With relaxing massages, reiki and other treatments, I left feeling restored and reenergised.
Another restful and restoring week at this special place. The staff are without exception delightful - caring and supportive. I felt cosseted and cared for. Daily Yoga sessions, mornings and evenings, framed the days perfectly and were tailored to the participants so everyone was catered for.
