WHATEVER YOU DO PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. THEY ARE IGNORANT ,UNPROFESSIONAL AND LIE. THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND CHARGE YOU FOR A CONTRACT THAT WAS NOT RENEWED. THEY WONT SEND CONFIRMATION OF THE CANCELLATION. NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU TRY. I HAVE MY BANK BLOCK THEM.

There is no way these reviews are real. They are a fraud and scammer. They sold me that everything will be covered after initial 30 days. When finally I raised the request for warranty they didn't assign anybody. Finally they assigned one contractor and contractor took the deductible. When the contractor didn't came back to issue, I tried reaching and contractor didn't came back. Amazon Home warranty said they will assign a new contractor as they have not been able to reach the contractor either. They didn't assign anybody ... read more

If I could give a 1/2 a star and not a 1, I would. The representative went over the appliances that are covered with me and recommended the combo package. So, I elected to go with the combo package. I wanted to give them a chance. However, big mistake the day I made my first payment my bank card was hacked. I was immediately notified by my financial institution about two fraudulent transactions. Look at the BBB on them. Beware do not use this company. Contract is wrong then they will charge so amount for canceling. Contract reads 24/7/365 days a year phone service request. Not true. Look at the limits they have on things. Water heater 500.00 AC 2500.00 Max. If your ac needs to be replaced will be a lot more than 2500.00. I paid 900.00 for 2 years. Cancel in 3 months and never used the service and charging me over 400.00 to cancel it. Beware rip off company.

I have paid into this company for home warranty services for nearly a year and have used nothing yet. My AC unit is going up at one property and when I made the claim, they indicated it was going to take one to three business days to process and assign a tech. I explained it was 105 degrees out (Vegas) and the rep said he could expedite it. When I asked if I could get my own contractor, he said yes and emailed pre authorization paperwork. Extremely slow to process a request / diagnosis for repair. I waited no less than 10 hours over 6 phone calls to speak with agents. After waiting, the agents couldn't answer questions or suggest a timeline for repairs. Each promised they called the authorization dept or sent them an email and I should be notified by day's end. Wrong....lies? Why does it take ten days to review a request for repair, study the technician's diagnosis, and send authorization?

I have used home warranty companies for over 20 years. I have used several different companies. I also really wanted this company to work out, unfortunately this is the first time in 20 years that I have completely felt swindled. I make claims in good faith, and in my years with other companies at least 80% of my claims have been covered to some acceptable level. I've have been with this company 9 months and made 3 claims. We are very pleased with Amazon Home Warranty. They were quick to respond to our needs regarding our stove that crashed right before Thanksgiving. The local service company they connected us to were prompt and courteous and got the job done in time to save our Thanksgiving. :)
