Recently bought a low mileage 2020 VW Amarok pick up truck as did not want a Ford in drag, with a view to keeping it long term as a tow car. I wanted to get it protected as it has a retrofitted 5th Wheel hitch and airbags and so the quality of the work / rust proofing was unknown. Really disappointing. The quality and Finish was sub standard. Runs and dirt in the paint. When I pointed this out to Phil, he was not helpful or willing to do anything about it. Hence this review.
TOTAL SCAMMER,REPAIR BECAUSE IT WASNT A RESTORATION WAS APPALLING, BITS MISSING THAT I SUPPLIED AND CLAIMED TO OF FITTED.YET WHEN PANELS REMOVED INSIDE LOW AND BEHOLD ITS STILL MY ORIGINAL OUTER PANEL. CAME UP WITH EXCUSES AFTER EXCUSE AS TO WHAT HAD GONE WRONG. ONE PART MAYBE BUT TO CHARGE FOR A PANEL THAT WASNT FITTED AND THEN NOT EVEN KNOW WHERE THE PANEL SUPPLIED HAS GONE TOO. DODGY AS.
Shocking service. Finally returned my car , work still outstanding, missing wing mirror, part cleaned/rusty chrome , temporary patched up heater controls etc their response …. For me to pay £1000 transport to return the car back for work that should’ve been done properly in the first place. If you have a £200k car they may bother but if your car isn’t a high end marque I’d seriously look elsewhere because this was a painfully shoddy experience, no budget was ever given!
