Avoid at All Costs – Scam Warning. Do not Bank Transfer them. I wish I could give zero stars. Do not buy from Altham Car Recyclers Ltd (trading as ACR Car Spares) via 1stChoice or Breaker Link without PayPal protection. I bought an engine from them with a so-called "4-month warranty," which turned out to be completely useless. Their "low mileage" engine failed after just 60 miles. They sent the wrong part after I sent lots of pictures so I was told to send back the incorrect part for a refund.I did this the next day & had proof & a picture from royal mail along with tracking info to confirm it had been returned so I then called them to find out when refund would be issued but was given a cocktail & bull story about my returned item might of been sent to another part of the business even when it was sent to the invoice address they gave me when they sent the wrong part.I payed the return postage cost b... read more
