I have called for service SIX times in the last three weeks and was told someone will be here in the next few days. "Someone" never shows up. I have a very poor picture and called again today. I couldn't really understand what the person told me because the spoke terrible english. I know he wasn't planning on fixing my problem so I anm cancelling today and going to another company.
This cable company is the worst ever. We are still getting charged for internet service we cancelled in January (It's now May). We are getting charged for channels we no longer have,and have been lied to repeatedly....when and if we can get thru to the "customer service department" (I use that term loosely). Our next step is calling an attorney. The ONLY reason we have not gone to satellite is because we have HUGE trees blocking the spot where the satelite needs to be. I can't believe this company is still in business
This company provides THE WORST TV Cable service. I now have lost 25% of my channels. They continue to give me reasons why my service is out and that they will let the "Technician" know. I have been fighting with them sinc 3-16-09, it is not 4-20-09. I have reported them to the FCC, Attoney General and the Better Business Bureau and would encourage anyone with problems to do the same!
I have complained 11 times in the past two months about not getting half the stations and my complaints have never reverberate into better service. I am still getting billed for HBO which was canceled in December, it is not mid April. I have documented on a calendar all the days which I have not received their service and have spoken to the FCC and an Attorney in Eureka, CA. who is advising me on what not to pay toward their bill based on my calendar entries. Can't get through on 877# always busy. Haven't had Discovery Channel since getting service in august of 2008. Have had 4-6 other channels down for over a month now, but still charges full price. No estimation given of anything being fixed. Also when the wind blows hard or there is any type of weather outside there is not a strong enough signal to get most of our channels that we have been able to get. Complaints to the fcc go unheard. sent in at least 5 complaints. Almega bought the cable company here in December and it's been down hill ever since. Daily calls do no good. Threatening to not pay your bill does no good. The city council here has even gotten involved and still nothing.
This company needs to be investigated by The Better Business Bureau. I have a vacation home on Santee Lake in Summerton, SC. They cut service out that area two years ago but continued to bill me and accept payment for their nonexistent cable. I would call them about not having service and they supposedly would send someone out to fix my cable. Because it was in the winter I was not down there to check on my cable service. i have been fighting with Almega since December of 08 about my cable they fixed three channels then took 5 channels away and want to blame it on another cable company return my channels 49,51,61,64,65, it took them 4 months to fix three channels thats why i didn't pay my march bill.
Month after month I am having the same trouble, Out of 32 channels I only get 20 channels that I can watch. No siginal Channels 10,20,22,31 and 33. Static, snow : 02, 04, 05,24,,34,36. Picture, no sound channel 12, picture, garbaled sound Ch 21. I've been told Ch.22 (Discovery) ,CH.31(travel) and Ch.33(Animal Planet) would be back on soon---3months!!!!!! I've called your service for past 3 months but still no long term solution.
