In November 1964, Inspired by the people of Rolla, Alex Kallas and his wife Froso Kallas chose the location for his restaurant. He believed here in Rolla there was something special about the people, the town, and how he could be part of it. As the years pased Alex's Pizza Palace became part of Rolla, a tradition, and a famous spot that contains many memories and a part of this history of the city. Now when poeple come back to Rolla, they always have an Alex's Pizza.

Just found a receipt for a delivery order from Alex's from 1982... I ate lots of Pizza and Gyros during my days at UMR (now MS&T). Food good enough that I always come back every time I'm in Rolla.

A big 'oil pile of pasta and pizza; you don't come for the herbs and meats and fresh made crusts and sauces, nope. You come cause you get all that and dozen brews on tap (including local) all the sports you can watch and fun loving staff who can make your eating experience just that little bit better.
If you can’t have Arris’ in Jefferson City and you’re in Rolla, stop in at Alex’s!
Nostalgia brought us back 25 years later for the great pizza and cold beer. Now that we live close, we’ll be sure to stop in more often!
