LANDLORDS BEWARE. Read their contract terms carefully. They say you cannot sack Alexander & Co. without a large penalty, unless the tenancy has ended, even when they did not find the tenants in the first place. I gave (7 months) notice that I was ending my contract with Alex & Co. "at the end of the tenancies". Alex & Co. took over £3,000 from my rents anyway, in clear violation of their own contract and thought I would accept that. 9 months and a lawsuit later they had to return my money (plus costs and interest).
