Not a great night. Waited 30 minutes to get into the "pit pass" for monster trucks. Missed half of it. Then waited 30 min for food. Now still waiting over 30 minutes in the parking lot to try get out. Horrible planning. For this big of venue it should have gone more smoothly.

There is no option for a no star review which is what I would give this place. They waited until I had paid to tell me that no bags of any kind were allowed inside. I was told to take my purse out to my vehicle. At which point I told them I do not own a vehicle and they told me I wasn't allowed in then. But yet I saw 3 people walk in as I was leaving carrying large purses and backpacks and they we're allowed in no problem

I have been to a couple of events at the Alerus and each time I was disappointed. Today for the Jurassic Quest we waited in line for an hour. It was basically a free for all to get to the one and only entrance to the event. There should be people directing event-goers to the back of the line but instead they had many entrances open and people coming in the east doors were cutting in the front of the line. I expected a 15 to 20 minute wait but an hour is just too long especially with small children along.

Not that the alerus center is a bad place, it's not. But for the money to build it and the events they have you would think seating would be a litle more reasonable size wise. Our 4 children complained the entire time from being to close none of them could get comfortable (and yes we sat between and swap spots so many times) our kids ages are 2. 5. 9. And 12 at the time) "they are not fat children either before anyone rude tells us to loose some weight" my husband is a football player and is tall so his knees where in his ch... read more

Jesus F#ckin Christ! You could make the seats a little bigger, or space the seats out a little more. Personal space? Apparently you don’t need it here. So FYI, to those reading this... unless your a$$ cheeks are 5” wide combined, don’t waist your time.

Show was great. However, they apparently fleece you for additional money for parking (10$) which is not valet. In addition, they tell you you can't bring a purse, then want you to spend money during intermission but they will not allow you to leave for any reason. The parking wouldn't have neen such a big deal if they had mentioned it before, but with no cash they want you to go in to their ATM and then pay for the priviledge of parking. Not impressed.
