I arrived at the ER around 1pm and didn't leave until 11pm. I wasted my whole day and when it was time for discharge i couldn't leave right away because my blood pressure was really high. I wonder why. If this hospital wasn't 15mins away walking I'd choose another.
Everyone we dealt with were absolutely amazing especially Mary Ted's nurse. Doctors are wonderful.
I've been a patient of AMC over 25 yrs. I came in today to find out I have 2 clots in my lung and was admitted to the floor. Tonight someone stole my medication out of my bag while I was in the E.D. and the nurse told me there is nothing that can be done about it. security tells me he doesn't believe they would take my meds and leave my laptop. I Had great nurses and doctors the nurses were right there when I needed anything
I am a trache patient i was transferred to them due to a blockage in my breathing and was struggling to breathe were i was turning blue i got there at 1130 pm and never seen a doctor at 645 am i walked out of hospital with iv still attached and had my family pick me up and drive me to Manhattan to a real hospital with iv in arm walked out never got stopped or asked were i was going i removed iv outside at starbucks and preceeded to montifiore medical center in the bronx were i was rushed in er and rite into operating room fo... read more
