It was great to work with Alan De Maid on the sale of our flat. I'm particular, a big thanks to Rena who was our main contact helping us push things through when we sold, who always diligently chased parties up and responded quickly to our messages, which helped us meet our tight timeline to move before our baby was due!
While we ended up not buying the property, this wasn’t the fault of Alan De Maid - Rena is a fantastic estate agent, friendly, and very good at getting issues checked very quickly. They’re a very good estate agent to look at if you’re buying in south east London.
The team at Alan De Maid have been fantastic from start to finish with the sale of my father's flat. Nothing was too much trouble, they provided information on local contractors to help with disposing of unwanted effects, they supported with "chasing" (in an appropriate manner!) the various parties involved in the sale - I could go on. We had a very positive experience with Alan de Maid - we really would recommend them to anyone in the area looking to sell their property. All the staff were extremely helpful especially Rena who was amazing! We had very tricky buyers and Alan de Maid dealt with it with professionalism and patience and saw it through to completion.
Our experience with Alan De Maid Beckenham was nothing short of disastrous. The sale dragged on for 6 months purely due to their incompetence and failure to do the basics of their job. The allocated agent consistently failed to chase relevant parties, didn’t follow up on the management pack, and directly caused a one-month delay to completion. Communication was appalling.
