(edited 2025) - this place has gone down in recent times sadly. They charge prices similar to Umrah Supermarket and other places however their meat is not as fresh and consistent. Unfortunately, Al Hamra is hit and miss. Sometimes it's ok but sometimes the chicken smells like sulphur and needs returning to the shop. The wooden butchers table where the meat is prepared looks dirty and is very worn down as well, which traps dirt and bacteria. It needs replacing in my opinion.
