My daughter just came home from having her tonsils and adenoids out. The experience was made significantly better due to an incredible staff. From admissions to discharge, every single person was phenomenal. If we any of our other children needs surgery, you can count on us using Akron’s Children Hospital.
Dr. Burkham is fantastic! We LOVE her! You can tell she's passionate about her job and is great with the kiddos. It's great to see our pediatrician swaddle up the newborn and rock him and snuggle him while I tend to our toddler. We feel blessed to have found a great pediatrician that fits in to our lifestyle. The rest of the staff is also super helpful and nothing but awesome with my kiddos.
My 3 year old son had oral surgery here yesterday and it was nothing short of amazing. The entire staff from start to finish was phenomenal. The Dr was quick to get him added on the very next day to get his surgery and everyone made it the best experience possible for him. They treated him with such care and made him so comfortable that he was not scared at any point throughout the day. I am so happy that he had such wonderful people there to take care of him.
