RecommendedI cannot say enough good things about Akron Children’s Hospital. We have been admitted and treated at other Children’s Hospitals. The culture at ACH stands out. ACH is what a Children’s Hospital should be: full of skilled workers who are kind, compassionate, informative, and love their jobs. I will recommend ACH over and over and over again.
My daughter and I realized volleyball started this week. We needed a sports physical but so did everyone else. The receptionist worked with me to help find us an appointment but then noticed we had one less than a year ago. She said this would work and to get them the form and it would take 4-5 days. I couldn't wait this long because I needed it today. Dr. Wallington and the receptionist made sure I had it today. We are grateful for them. Thank you!
We went for our yearly sports physical. I love this place very friendly and thorough.
I have to say, my son is in this hospital right now and we are having the best care! This place is amazing and helps the kids and parents anyway they can!! Fully recommend this hospital.
Yesterday I took My daughter for what turned out to be an ear infection. Normally we see Dr Wells there which she is such a wonderful person, easy to talk with, listens, and is super nice! Yesterday, with me calling fist thing in the morning, we were unable to see her so we saw Colette Libertin, one of the Nurse Practitioners. I must say, if i ever have to take either of my kids in and can't see their normal doctor, I'm going to make sure they see her! It's seems appropriate to have wheelchairs available for patients who are NOT "red wagon" sized. Valet tells, points, handicapped person bringing patient to the emergency department, where to park. Upon discharge, valet sits!!! ISN'T PARKING AND RETRIEVING CARS THEIR JOB??? When a medical professional makes a statement that can't be acted upon...a decent apology, in this case, would have been enough. EXTREMELY disappointed!!! ER has some work to do.
I just brought my 15 year old daughter home from having her tonsils out. The staff was phenomenal with her and explained everything to us in detail. I was impressed with the facility and the staff. Thank you to the whole staff for making my daughter comfortable and treating us the way you did. It made this nervous momma feel alot better!
