We went to AJL telling them our engine had seized. We had been elsewhere & been quoted an extortionate amount. We were recommended to AJL. We were first time customers, but Allan was exceptionally helpful. He suggested how we could try to obtain a replacement engine, and in fact found one for us on Ebay, which I subsequently purchased. We had the replacement engine delivered to AJL Auto repairs.They booked us in to do the work, saying it was a 2 day job. This was accurate and we collected the car today. Fantastic, these lads are great. Was about to drop over a grand on work based on advice received elsewhere, came for a quote from AJL but they said the issue was something else (much cheaper). They did the work promptly and problem solved! Recommend and shall be using again.
What a great bunch of mechanics. I've used them a few times, and they're always helpful. Most recently, they diagnosed & sorted a few problems on my car, so it could pass it's MOT.
All the guys in the garage were friendly work was good and price was fair
