The team at AST has set the standard for me. Sam and Dionte were my instructors, and they were great. Between their instruction and the ground lessons conducted by Rick, they set me up to feel really comfortable with the airplane. Yes, they teach things differently than we were ALL taught in our multi-engine courses. But they can explain the reasoning and compare results in the simulator. Guess what, their methods were always more efficient and simpler as a pilot! They really tailored the training to my operational needs, wh... read more

I have taken many flight training classes and been to different flight simulator schools but Aircraft Simulator Training is by far the best I have ever been to. The in-depth training and knowledge that they pass on and the flight scenarios they put you through brings a whole new meaning to flight training and a whole new perspective on flying. The flight Sims that they use are top notch. Cannot thank these guys enough for the time they spent with me!

AST is the place for twin Cessna education and training. I can say that because I have experienced many other less valuable alternatives. The simulator instruction is invaluable. It is truly life saving. The scenarios that are practiced to competency in the sim are just not safe in the actual airplane. The simulators are an accurate representation of the actual plane. The Instructors alter aircraft performance by changing density altitude and aircraft weight (fuel load) to make the flying as difficult as your skills are up t... read more

Rick, Chuck, and the crew do an outstanding job of teaching the systems of these complex airplanes, ensuring that you can make informed decisions when things go wrong. Their instruction, paired with repeated emergency scenario training in the simulator, equips you to handle any challenge that might arise during flight. I had a difficult flying year, with two declared emergencies, including an in-flight loss of power in the left engine. Thanks to the training I received, I was able to manage both situations with confidence an... read more

What a great experience , you would never think a little town of Burnet TX would have such professional simulator training , I really did not know what to expect. I love Ricks method of training real life scenarios !!! What’s actually going to happen in real experiences from pilots and his own experiences after flying for 40 plus years. His famous words “ hey you can do what you want but im going to tell you this is going to happen”. Chuck and Tyler were amazing as my flight instructors setting up these real life scenarios a... read more
