The handbrake failed on our way to the Lake District, we managed to get to our destination but our car would have been unusable for our two week holiday unless it was repaired. Alan arrived with the required parts and we were good to go after a couple of hours. Alan is a five star mechanic and more than fair with his prices.
I recently reviewed this mechanic but I took it off. Anyway I've finally got my van fixed. Alan you cost me a lot of money to get it fixed. You pulled out a fuel rail sensor. And left my van in bits. My own garage was dumbfounded how you left my van. You left without any clips on the parts you put back. There was cracked pipes. I would not recommend anyone to use this so called mechanic. Otherwise you will be a £1000 out of pocket.
Alan came out to fix my Van on the 20th of December. I told him my what was wrong. Anyway he came and fixed my van put a new thermostat in. Unfortunately he pulled out my fuel rail sensor. He left us for a few days as he was busy plus it was Christmas. He came back and tried to put it back over the next 4 days, but was unable to do so. In the end I had to get towed home. We got stranded in the Lake District after leaving our camp site. Googled on a wim not expecting much to find someone to help us. Came across Alan’s number so gave him a call, within the hour he was with us fitting a new battery, reassured me he didn’t want me waiting too long for him. Really friendly guy, so reasonably priced too to say it was a Sunday. An absolute life saver!!
