Very disappointing experience today. I took 2 bags of donations in after work today, at 4.20pm (they close at 5pm). The reception I received was very unwelcoming.. no thank you, instead a ‘we don’t take donations after 4pm as we have to cash up and prepare for the next day’. I explained that I am a teacher, so getting to the shop before was really difficult, but the response was just repeated. Awful place I enquired to volunteer there the area manger remarked to me she wanted a character reference to offer volunteering. After I explained my situation about not holding a job, as im autistic a I did not have any references to give.I would not recommend to shop there or volunteer there. The manager asked if I had any friends to give a character reference I said no. Please if you would like to shop or have donations support other charities.
Have just arrived at the store half an hour before closing time to be told that they are closed and don’t want my donations. Please, if you have items that you want to donate, support another charity locally instead
I won’t be coming in here again. Snotty people working here... don't go here.. staff are rude and so up them selves ..I picked up some shoes and put them back cuz they were so scuffed up and way over priced.. went into co op but really wanted the shoes so I went back for them (for some reason) and she asked me if I walked out with the shoes and brought them back?? Had the nerve to tell me to keep an eye on my kids who was just looking at the bedding and clothes..not pulling anything off the railings or anything and didnt hav... read more
This store has a variety of men's, women's and children's second hand good quality clothes along with bric a brac and new goods. The staff are helpful too.
