My Favorite Restaurant – I am sad to say that I live 3000 miles away from this incredible restaurant. The mere thought of Agave makes my mouth water for the awesome food and generous margaritas! Chef Jack Sobel does an extraordinary job of creating a menu that is rich in Southwestern tradition with enough of his own flair to keep it interesting. I have lived in and traveled to many places, but Agave remains my favorite restaurant!
A lovely experience to be remembered. – The wonderful atmosphere took me right back to New Mexico, and the unrushed yet attentive hospitality made us feel right at home. The food was exqusite and beautifully presented. The wine list had an excellent variety, and they had more types of tequila than I thought existed. I had the Pork chop, which was excellent, and my date had the special that evening. I could see why Agave has won awards or their margaritas, they were excellent. We had to wait a little while, not overlong, to b... read more
Disappointed – My recent visit to Agave was a big disappointment at Agave. Service was very poor, it was like trying to play hide and seek with the server. Margaritas used to be great, but they were weak and smaller. I may have caught them on a bad night so I will give them another chance since I do like the relaxed atmoshere.
a longtime favorite! – Agave has been one of my top 5 favorite restaurants for over 2 years now. As soon as I walk in I feel as though I have been transported out West. The staff are always super friendly and courteous (as though they actually enjoy working there)! They're attentive and there's a very good chance they will remember your face the second time you go. The margaritas are huge and the menu offers a great array of enticing dishes. I've had a hard time deviating from my favorite: pan seared tuna with a jalapeno was... read more
Hand and Foot – I recently dined at Agave with a large group of friends. Our group unexpectedly grew far beyond our reservation. What was originally a party of about ten ended up being closer to twenty. Despite a very busy and almost full dining room and patio, the management made it their priority to make sure our party had ample eating room and could enjoy a comfortable meal. From there the service staff guided us through a delightful three course family style dinner. The meal ended up being the best I have had in recent m... read more
Real Enjoyment at the Great Wall of Tequila! – I just saw that someone gave one of my favorite restaurants in town a sad review. Lets set the record straight...the Margaritas are great they must have like 100 different tequilas on that wall, if you know of better in Atlant, someone let me know... Spring Rolls are one of my favorites too, along with that trout they serve. The people at agave seem to always be very pleasant and eager to help. The restaurant is not the size of a cheesecake factory. It's not really a place to go... read more
cool place – This place is great for any dinner plans...the restaurant is beautiful, the staff is wonderful, and the food is delicious. Their drinks are crazy good and the prices aren't outrageous. Its a great first date location. Great variety of wine as well.
simply outstanding – I went last friday night with a couple of coworkers. it was my first time and I wanted to see if the claimed best margaritas in the city were really it. We had a great time our server christina was very helpful. we loved our dinners and the margaritas are simply outstanding! go with the top shelf an agave staff favorite I was told. great place for friends and the family.
an excellent experience – I recently visited Agave with 15 friends to celebrate a birthday. Our two servers, Emily and Robert, were friendly and accommodating; the food was outstanding, especially the chef's specials. The staff and management seemed genuinely concerned in making our celebration special. I encourage anyone to visit for awesome margaritas, attentive service, and incredible cuisine.
