My daughter, a Wellesley College student athlete, was recently sent here by the athletic trainers at Wellesley who suspected she had an infection in her foot. The doctors totally dismissed her concerns, discounted her pain and sent her packing with no explanation. She went to health services at the college the next day and they drained the infection and put her on antibiotics. She is now feeling better and can play her sport again. The doctors at AFC did nothing for her. Do not go!
I went yesterday because i couldn't breathe without almost gasping. had a flu test it was negative (I've had that test before so i knew she didn't go far back enough). they did chest xrays that came back negative. so I was told there was nothing wrong beside a virus or a cold. I mentioned that it felt like I was breathing through a straw. the doctor said to follow up with my PCP. I left and did not feel comfortable leaving still gasping for breath.
