RecommendedI brought Dora to Mayfair Animal Hospital Saturday evening for a second opinion for emergency Pyometra surgery. We left WVRC in Waukesha thinking we were going to lose our 15 year old chihuahua. Dr Varani was amazing. She instilled confidence in us that our little girl had a fighting chance. She made it through surgery against the odds (WRVC recommended putting her down or risking surgery with an estimate of 4-7k). I will never hesitate to bring my dogs here. When my 13 year old cat Ty wasn’t himself and it was Monday night I knew something needed to be done right away and looked online and just randomly picked this hospital and took a Lyft from lower east side os MKE and they were so good to me from the start and he did end up over night last night when no improvements ... they did a wonderful job taking care of my baby boy (13 year old) !! Had to bring my dogs in a few different times. We had great service each time. Very affordable for emergency 24 hour care. Staff was very friendly and compassionate. Would recommend this place anytime!
I recommend MAH&ER because the are amazing people! We had to bring out 19 yr old cat to be euthanized. It was our first time coming there. (It was recommended from our Vet) All the staff was so kind hearted, it was so very appreciated at such a difficult time! They cared right from the moment we met. My husband and I recently took our two cats here because we were concerned about dehydration in both of them. Our cats received outstanding care here! Both the vet tech/assistant and vet were extremely kind and understanding, and treated our cats with respect. They made sure we knew all our options and the costs up front, even suggesting (safe) ways we could save money.
