They shouldn't make someone give a rating just to post a review so this 1-star is pushing it! This hospital is HORRIBLE! We brought our dog in to be seen after getting hit by a car and the staff has no sense of bedside manner at all and needs to be retrained in sensitivity. Our dog died because we didn't have the money right then & there and no payment plans are even offered so they wouldn't even touch her! You cannot call yourself a 24 hour emergency hospital when you send all of your veterinarians to a 3 hour meeting and there is no one on site to care for patients! Our regular vet ordered us to Mayfair ASAP at 5:00pm tonight (a Tuesday evening) when our dog was experiencing stroke/seizure symptoms. The receptionist told me no one would be available to see her until 8:00, and I could either wait or drive somewhere else. I ended up at Lakeshore Animal Hospital in Glendale 30 minutes away. They are the most money hungry place. They questioned us 2x if we can afford our dogs bill so far.. our dog is not doing good right now and you are worried about the bill!!! Really we are going to pay the bill!!!! They show NO compassion at ALL!!!! Do Not bring your animals here!!!!
I had to visit the animal hospital 2 times in three days. My big girl was struggling with her litter of 14 and I can't tell you the comfort and love they showed my baby girl as well as us! I highly recommend them to anyone who has an urgent/emergency situation. The doctors and staff I just want to hug and say thank you for everything! Awesome place

The first time I visited this clinic was this past fall after coming home from a work trip to find a limping cat. I rushed him in without an appointment and was seen quickly. I was sent home within the hour with a week's supply of pain killers and ear drops after they noticed a yeast infection in his ear. Everyone was super friendly and reassuring, and my emergency visit cost no more than a standard vet appointment. After that they were my first choice when looking for a new vet!
