Dr. Konell is a wonderful doctor. I wish he was still with West Florida because the care I’ve been receiving is not satisfactory. I feel it’s a waste of time to even go to appointments now.
I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of communication. Important calls are not being returned in a timely manner, which could have serious consequences. I feel like just another number. it's clear that my concerns aren’t being taken seriously.
There should be no reason to get into a verbal altercation with a patient. Tried to address a billing issue involving Tricare prime. Was instructed to contact tricare to rectify issues. Tricare said there were no issue between myself and bill. Tried explaining to Casey what I was told and was screamed at and verbally assaulted pretty much telling me I just needed to pay them their money. Dr. Heitman implaned an ICD in me. He is so kind and respectful. I am so grateful to have had such an experienced surgeon. He is the cream of the crop for sure.
Pre-op 30 minute visit with Dr. Heitman and nurse assistant was relaxed and informative. Was told how critical my situation was, what had to be done, and the risks involved. No pain after by-pass surgery and had an unusually small incision. Worked with only the best associates in the OR during the procedure. Dr. Heitman is a very personable and caring physician, as is his entire knowledgeable staff. No waiting with post-op follow-up visits. Best physician I have ever had and would recommend to all heart patients.
I saw Dr. Goldstein two weeks ago, and since then, it has been an incredibly frustrating and concerning experience. My pharmacy informed me that they needed prior authorization from the doctor for several of my prescribed medications. They’ve reached out multiple times with no success. I’ve personally called Dr. Goldstein’s office four times. Dr Schiffman does not rush you in and out of his office, he is caring, concerned about you and wants the best for your success. That is why he will take as much time as needed to make you feel comfortable with him and his decissions. He ia one of the finest surgeons i ever had the pleasure in permitting him to operate on me.
