I have a new small business and had a need for a payroll service. I had been doing payroll manually with QB when ADP came into the picture. After working for about a month on a deal, a good deal at that, Georgina (my sales person) reached out and about three days before one of my payrolls. She started explaining to me if I wanted to switch over I would have to make this happen before closing Q1 or else it would be more difficult. I have a long list of issues with ADP, but this one is the most telling: One of the first mailed letters I received from them included both my social security number and my birthdate printed on the form as my identification number. When I called and requested my identification number be changed, they didn't understand why it was an issue. (Look at state laws regarding use of social security numbers and identity theft.) The document in question was a ****document which came from directly from ****, not ADP. At that the time of question, ADP worked with **** to correct that process of printing SSN & DOB’s on correspondence. It was discovered it was not a typical **** practice, but in some cases they do print sensitive information. It is my duty to reveal ADP's mistakes and lack of accountability. ADP payroll along with its famous card the aline card are the worst of the worst indeed. It turns out that my employer created an account for me with ADP to deposit my earned money- ADP did not allow me to activate the aline card either by phone or online so my funds were detained as an adverse action and ADP demanded that I submitted identification documents. I have been using ADP for almost a year. I am very disappointed in level of service and lack of knowledge pertaining to Worker Compensation Insurance. My account representive recommended Kevin to handle my Workers Compensation Insurance. I was lead to believe Kevin was a seasoned insurance broker. It turned out that is a merely a sales person. This company calls us at least 5 time a day and will not stop harassing us with these phone calls. We have asked time and time again to stop calling and they continue to call. I would never use a service that is this bad at customer relations. How the heck do they have an A+ rating with no positive reviews? Come on BBB do you job and rate them properly.

I have never been more dissatisfied with customer service as I am with ADP. I lost my card about 20 days ago and requested a new one. It did not come in the quoted time and when I called two days in a row and they said that I just had to wait. I called a couple days after that and they said that I never ordered a card and that I had to wait 7-10 more business days. ADP payroll site frequently down. As employee, payroll codes for job/service types all incorrect and not working. Poor service. Should file bankruptcy and shut down. Forced to rate with a single star but would prefer no star rating.

ADP is unable to provide me with documentation it is required by law to collect from me. I am trying to get copies and an accounting of amounts ADP paid through my FSA and ADP is unable to do so. They provide me instead with vague and undetailed materials and state that their servers are down, or that the software is old.

In addition to previous commentary, I requested to be transferred to the customer satisfaction survey and the operator said "i'm not sure if it's working" and then was transferred. As soon as I began to answer the first question, the call was mysteriously hung up. Unprofessional.
