Adam Broderick: Try It, You'll LOVE it! Been visiting the Adam Broderick Salon & Spa since the day it opened. The experience is always a calming, lovely two-hour break from the everyday world! Between the warm towels, the head massage, the offer of coffee, tea, lemon water and the general relaxation areas while my hair "cooks", I can't say enough about the service there. Not going back! I went to Adam Broderick when I moved back to CT a few years ago. I had heard he was still in business and it sounded like it was "the" place to go for great hair cuts and color. Wrong. It took many attempts to find a decent hair cutter and once you did that you had to then find a colorist -- there never seemed to be any stylist that could do both...I watched a hair stylist cut someone's hair one day while making an appt. and thought I would try him for my next appointment...I was back a week later to the 'fi... read more
No quality control Too many stylists no quality control. I have had too many bad haircuts there. Many times they will give you whoever is available. I need to find a new place where the owner really cares about the clients and watches over.
Unprofessional This place is a joke ... beginning with rude staff (little girls who are extremely unprofessional) at the front desk. I have had several hair cuts at AB along with color processing & highlites usually at a cost of $264 for an appt. PRICEY ... ya think !! Some of the stylists are better than others, they come & go quickly. They tell you there are levels of expertise that you are paying for & that's soooooo not true. I saw no difference at all. Stay Away! I have had 2 bad experiences at Adam Broderick... - A terrible massage by the strangest young woman...kind of like a truck driver personality. - I had my hair colored there, and instead of touching up my roots she highlighted my hair from scalp to end. My hair ended up turning green and the ends just died. They then sold me a huge, expensive bottle of something to strip the green out and it just made matters worse. No Concept of Time I agree with comments on the front desk attitude. I also scheduled three massages with two separate therapists and all three were cut short by 5 minutes, 10 minutes and 10 minutes respectively. When I called to complain I was assured someone would contact me to discuss - never happened. I'd been going there on and off for 14 years. WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. Smoke and mirrors as far as I'm concerned.

Where else can you get a full head of highlights, a haircut, and a blow dry with less than 24 hours notice by calling or making your appointment online?
