The BEST experience I have had The best experience I've had getting my children's haircut since they have been having their hair cut! I have been ALL over Fairfield County....from Greenwich to Southport and in between, simply wanting a good cut and friendly service. Not At All What I Expected A factory of very young stylists from Danbury with little sense of style, elegance or sophistication (scarry). They try to come off as an upscale NYC salon but they have no understanding of what that concept is. You are better off going to a smaller salon where they care more about your appearance and experience than they do about the decor.
Love the Southbury location! Many years ago, I went to the Ridgefield salon for a cut with a stylist who was the brother of my friend. I walked out with great looking hair but, at the time, the cost was way out of my early 20's budget for regular hair maintenance so, that was my only AB experience in Ridgefield. No quality control Too many stylists no quality control. I have had too many bad haircuts there. Many times they will give you whoever is available. I need to find a new place where the owner really cares about the clients and watches over.
I love my hair almost as much as i LOVE Adam Broderick! I first started going here with long, dry, stringy hair and i now have beautiful, vibrant short, STYLISH hair. I recieve at least 3 compliments on my "do" everyday. I am madly in love with my stylist, Paula. She is probably the most talented hair stylist in this area. Just give your money away for free... Attitude is the word everyone is using and I experienced that first hand last weekend. I booked an appointment for a wedding I was in and I told them I had to leave by 2pm, I didn't walk out of there until 3:15. They were rude, overpriced and most had no experience what so ever. My highlights looked like the came from the 1950's- over bleached with a weird green hugh...The curls were awful. I paid well over 250 dollars for all the services and was NOT WORTH IT. Top Notch in Service and Services! I love this place. I have to say it's not only the best game in town, but the only game in town in my opinion. I've always been a client of their spa - which is topnotch - love the services, the staff and especially the relaxation room. And I recently became a client of the salon. They nail my color and my cuts every time, and the scalp massage during shampooing is amazing. Two thumbs up. And I got a free manicure for my birthday!
bad service and bad attitude I have been to ab of several occassions for color, cut, manicures and pedicures at both locations. I have curly hair so the universal haircut they give eveyone just did not work for me. Problem was that is the only haircut they know how to do? AVOID- rip OFF DO NOT GO HERE! The "new staff" are a bunch of stupid girls who have no respect. I called up to ask a question the girl was so rude. I've been there many of times and my hair is ruined for life. I would never get cut there, also they made me look like a hooker with the dye job I got. Not to mention 180 for highlights is a little steep don't ya think???
