I would like to share my experience with the acupuncture and massage clinic. I had booked an appointment for a regular neck massage, but instead, I received acupuncture treatment. I had a very bad experience. I wanted acupunture as I've had it before and found it helpful but this experience has put me off it for a while. I went into the room and he had me position uncomfortably on my side, he then started with the needles straight away no massage to help relax, it felt rushed and harsh and was even slightly painful. He then connected them to electric current without asking or letting me know what was happening and I couldn't move or talk as he had needles in my face. I went in for a free consultation and was examined (pulse, questions, etc.). Without asking if I wanted acupuncture, the practitioner started setting up and I felt pressured into going along. During the session, I didn’t feel comfortable or safe, and afterward I was told I “needed” acupuncture every day, despite the fact I had explained I was leaving the country in three days.
