My boyfriend and I have had to take our rabbit to Access twice, and have had nothing but amazing experiences with the staff and practice. Both times, the place was clean and everyone was very friendly. One of those trips was a devastating time when we were told our rabbit may not survive due to an issue with his digestive tract, and the staff was very empathetic and helpful during this difficult time. I was referred to Dr Zimmerman at Access Hospital at 9599 Jefferson, Culver City, to have a cardiac exam of my almost 6 year old Great Dane - REGIS. It was a little difficult figuring out the parking which is on the roof. The driveway up is on the East side of the Building on the North side of Jefferson. I had a real emergency with our parrot who had a seizure. I live in Upland, Ca. and after exhausting every vet, clinic, and hospital for exotics in our area (over 20 calls) Access Specialty Animal Hospital was the only place with a doctor who could care for our parrot. All the vets, etc. either were closed at 7:30 PM, didn't have an exotic doctor this day or they just left. There is no other emergency care that I would use for my dogs, my cats or my bearded dragon. They truly care for my pets, myself and my kids when we are here. We've been through our shares of trauma with our little household zoo and the doctors, nurses and receptionists always treat us and our animals like VIP.
