My mother stayed at abode care home for 9 months, from the moment we went to visit the care home we were welcomed by such warmth and compassion. The care home attended to all my mothers dietary requirements, from the daily activities, live singers, and games which the staff organised myself and the family had zero concerns. I’d like to thank all the staff and management for everything. You all certainly gave us all a peace of mind knowing our mother was in great hands. Thank you

My father was placed at Abode as Covid hit in March 2020 as an emergency from Clifton hospital. the council attempted to place him as near to where we lived as possible due to the lockdown restrictions and this was 5 minutes walk from my house. My father remained there until August 2022 when he passed away. Covid was a very uncertain time for everybody and staff went above and beyond to allow us to visit and talk through the window with my father as often as we would like. I was horrified to see that they had a gaping hole on their driveway only covered by a little bit of wood. The hole is wide enough and deep enough to swallow an entire person. Staff are coming in and out alongside residents and this is a clear safeguarding issue. It’s been there for days and the manager is clearly irresponsible. A disgrace
