Our first visit was very welcoming by the staff . Everyone is very caring and friendly. Appointment is documented with a copy of your child’s dental X-ray with future plans. Awesome Doctors who are very understanding of Childrens disorders. Thank you 😊
Today's hygienist was spot on with her reasoning w/my 12 year old "all knowing" son about his brushing and flossing! It was a pleasure to watch her blow his mind as she described the bacteria that only flossing can tackle because brushing is simply incomplete (her analogy: like taking a shower & not washing your arm pits)!!! Dr. Spratling is always an upbeat part of our visits! Cheerful, warm, and professional is how I'd describe the office as a whole (w/fun decorations for every holiday & season)!
The whole office is great. My son has been going to them at least 8 years and has always be happy. Dr Spratling is amazing, easy to talk to, always willing to answer questions. I never have a billing issue with them, they are great at communicating whether it's about an appointment, follow-up or verification of information. I really recommend them, I wish they did adults.
I’ve been bringing my children to PDA for 10 years now. However, we moved to Columbia, SC about a year ago and needed to find a dentist closer to home. I’m a teacher, so I spoke with several parents trying to find a great dentist, but nothing compares to Dr. Spratling and Dr. Brantley. The dentist offices up here seem to run more like factories trying to pump out as many office visits and insurance claims as possible. The team at PDA couldn’t be different. My kids have been going to Dr. Spratling for years, and every experience has been great! Calm atmosphere, kid-friendly staff, trustworthy recommendations.
We did not wait long, and my 3 year old was fully entertained by the train table. It was his first visit and the hygienist was very gentle, soft spoken and patient. When the dentist came he was quick, and encouraging for my nervous child and very clear with instructions for me, as a parent. We were in and out in less than an hour and my son left happy. Thank you!
My worries are always will the kids be okay...Entering into the office with my 3 kids I noticed the waiting area to be secured, clean and inviting. My kiddos played until it was our turn to be seen. Each child was presented a take-away momento. None of them got antsy nor bored with having to wait. Everyone was reassured about the process and properly introduced to the caretakers as it was our first visit. I am looking forward to returning to the dentist...which is usually not something you hear often.
