I’ve been bringing my children to PDA for 10 years now. However, we moved to Columbia, SC about a year ago and needed to find a dentist closer to home. I’m a teacher, so I spoke with several parents trying to find a great dentist, but nothing compares to Dr. Spratling and Dr. Brantley. My kids have been going to Dr. Spratling for years, and every experience has been great! Calm atmosphere, kid-friendly staff, trustworthy recommendations.
We did not wait long, and my 3 year old was fully entertained by the train table. It was his first visit and the hygienist was very gentle, soft spoken and patient. When the dentist came he was quick, and encouraging for my nervous child and very clear with instructions for me, as a parent. We were in and out in less than an hour and my son left happy. Thank you!
My worries are always will the kids be okay...Entering into the office with my 3 kids I noticed the waiting area to be secured, clean and inviting. My kiddos played until it was our turn to be seen. Each child was presented a take-away momento. None of them got antsy nor bored with having to wait. Everyone was reassured about the process and properly introduced to the caretakers as it was our first visit. I am looking forward to returning to the dentist...which is usually not something you hear often.
Yesterday, my daughter had her first dentist appointment at 4 years old. She came in to the office greeted by a friendly staff and a beautiful office. During her check up, Mindy did a wonderful job informing her of all the procedures and made her very comfortable. She loved Dr. Brantley and told all her family and friends about her visit. My appointment was for my 14 month olds first check up. Very easy to make an appointment. We were welcomed back and the staff was very friendly. She seemed geniune in asking questions and had no problems with me putting my daughter in the chair and doing random things around the room to get used to it while we waited for the doctor. She helped her get used to the noises of the tools as well. The facility is clean and tailored to kids with toys, books, and movies. Dr. Brantley was great. I am extremely impressed with pediatric dental specialists! From the first call to make an appointment to each personal appointment reminder I have received, everyone has been extremely nice and accommodating. It seems that everyone enjoys their job and it shows. Today was our first visit to the office and I cannot say enough how much it means to be greeted with a friendly smile and wonderful attitude. We switched our dental care to y’all primarily for this very reason.
