Although the wait time was a little long, every one of the employees and volunteers were absolutely wonderful to converse with. I had a great experience and ended up adopting my very first dog! They were thorough in explaining what vaccines needed to be completed and resources in the area. Highly recommend!
It is sad to see that our local humane societies have jumped on the Grey2K and HSUS bandwagon to use greyhounds to increase your own donations! How much of that money will go to " the dogs "? You, nor any of the groups mentioned above, have EVER helped a GREYHOUND. Want to know who takes the best care of greyhounds... their owners, trainers, kennel hands and the breed specific adoption groups. People need to be protected from groups like yours.
Posts inflammatory and misleading information about greyhound racing. This shelter has a relatively high kill rate. Donation dollars would be better spent elsewhere.
Not truly about the animals. Believes lies. Won't research the truth.
For an organization that is supposed to be “for the animals” that fact that this organization is spreading lies and false information regarding greyhounds is saddening. Instead you should be helping people see the truth for themselves.
Like every Humane Society they get money to care for an animal then kill it especially any dog with pitbull looks SMFH. Wonder if they are shipping animals off to research companies to be maimed and killed. Obviously a bunch of ignorant inbreds. Y'all need to get away from all animals.
Brought in a baby stray kitten who has so much potential to be a sweet pet. I left feeling like he was going to be given the best shot at life. Thank you humane society of Tampa Bay.
We adopted a little old lady yesterday named Foxy. Since no one knew her original name (she was a stray) we have decided to call her Agnes. She is so sweet and has started to fit in perfectly. Although Agnes has some health issues, we are so happy to be her forever home! Thank you to the great staff at THS for all of your guidance and support during this process.
Hard working and friendly staff brings a unique experience to make selecting a new family member stress free and enjoyable. Thank you, Buddy has his new home and I have a new friend.
