Once upon a Saturday I stopped by the humane society of tampa bay to visit the kitties (not at all expecting to take one home). First stopped by the cat condos all so sweet and affectionate, then went into the kitten room, followed by the older kitten/pre adult red room. There were two very awesome volunteers that day...Mike 1 (adult) and Mike 2 (student). I sat and petted each kitten and as I was about to walk out adult Mike speaks up taking his volunteer position very seriously...he says "wait, you missed one". And he bend... read more
I absolutely love HSTB! They’ve always taken the best care of my fur babies and I’m always in and out within an hour. I brought my two dogs and my cat in yesterday and the vet tech checking me in could tell I was struggling. She ran over immediately and grabbed my cat carrier to help me out. I recommend HSTB to all my fur mommies ☺️
I absolutely love HSTB I have adopted several fur babies from here and the process was fantastic! On busy days (lots of puppies) come early! First come first serve but if you’re in line before opening they come out and get your name and inquiry. So by the time they open your first to see your potential new family member! I have never been the vet side but if you are looking for an affordable pet I suggest here! So well cared for �� adopt don’t shop!
I have been volunteering with the HSTB for a very long time doing TNR for feral cats. I have worked with 3 wonderful feral cat coordinators. They all have had the hearts of gold and really care about these cats and the feral cat program. I have also used the wellness clinic for my fosters or strays I found. I have always been treated wonderful and fairly. Yes sometimes the wait is a bit long but they are busy. I recommend the HSTB and love their staff and Dr. Bard and Dr. Boorstein. They have never disappointed.
