The worst hospital ever. They discharged my mother without fixing the problem. They seemed far more interested in getting a bed available for the next person. Had a breast cancer doctor checking my mother for a bleeding hernia, I guess they wanted an extra copay. We will NEVER use this hospital again. They discharged her because they deemed her surgery a non emergency, but want us to call them the next day to set up the surgery with them because it was urgent! Urgent and emergency are the same! If you want your loved one to come home, DO NOT SEND THEM TO THIS HOSPITAL!! I blame this hospital for my fathers death!! When he transferred from St. Luke’s in Milwaukee WI he was thriving, recovering and on his way home following a massive heart attack. 2 month is in this hospital and he passed away!!
who the hell puts a heart failure patient who tested negative for covid in the Covid unit?? abott does, that's who. after you forced my spouse to get a test, lying to him about if he doesn't take the test he will be put In the covid unit, he submits and you tell him he's going to the heart unit where he belongs for his heart failure only to put him in the covid unit. he's high risk. if he gets covid or if I do in the next 14 days there will be a major lawsuit coming your way

Dr. Johnson nearly killed my father (East Wing, 3rd floor). He was complaining of extreme pain after colon surgery and couldn’t breath; the doctor simply ignored him and didn’t even examine him. Turns out that bile and feces were collecting in his upper colon and 3 full containers were drained. If this was not caught by the nurses and another doctor, he could have very well gone into sepsis and be dead. Completely unacceptable, and complaint filed with the medical board and State of MN.

I was admitted for sky high blood sugar and they helped me navigate my newly diagnosed diabetes and are continuing with amazing care and treatment! my fiance also broke his arm and had it very negligently casted at another hospital and he was in great pain so I asked him to come to Abbott and they immediately recognized circulation was being cut off and re cast him appropriately and are going to be taking great care of him with their orthopedic team!!
