I was admitted for sky high blood sugar and they helped me navigate my newly diagnosed diabetes and are continuing with amazing care and treatment! my fiance also broke his arm and had it very negligently casted at another hospital and he was in great pain so I asked him to come to Abbott and they immediately recognized circulation was being cut off and re cast him appropriately and are going to be taking great care of him with their orthopedic team!! Unfortunately, the ER doctor lacked good bedside manner, as well as the nurse. I normally don’t do reviews, but I’m very displeased. When I brought my son there they made me feel like my concerns weren’t valid, until I said my husbands a nurse, then they took my concerns into consideration. This isn’t the first time this has happened. I brought my husband in because he was extremely ill and they refused to do any scans, left there and went to another clinic and he was hospitalized. I wouldn’t recommend their ER. The med-surg... read more

RecommendedWhile I would recommend Mercy to anyone who needs medical care, I would strongly caution any family members of the patient to have, pardon the pun, patience. The nursing staff seems to get frustrated and short tempered with family members quickly. My Mother has been in there twice this month and each time the nursing staff taking care of her has been rather rude. I imagine they are exhausted from all the stuff going on, so patience is highly recommended.
RecommendedMy husband was brought in this morning at about 3:00a.m. for chest pains. We were sitting outside waiting for any news. After two hours, I called to see if they could tell me how my husband was doing and I was disconnected. I called back and the lady told me the nurse had left her phone on the desk so she would go find her to see if she could tell me anything.
