Please help my son-in-law say goodbye to his sister. She has been declared dead and is a donor but because of the rules of only having the 2 original visitors, he cannot have closure. As of now, bars, restaurants, gyms are all open for customers but yet this limitation is so very cruel. There needs to be exceptions as other hospitals in the twin cities have accompanied visitors in situations like this. Let this be a time of honor for her as a donor and let her brother say goodbye. Please.

Business response:

Hi Marcie, we are sorry to hear you are having a frustrating experience. Please talk with the care team about this situation. Thank you!

Took my 18-year-old son who just turned 18 not graduated high school yet into the emergency room Friday evening with a possible appendicitis. My son who has no medical history is told at the front desk that his mom cannot be with him in the back due to the fact that he is 18. I plead my case with two nurses and say to them he is just 18 not graduated high school has no idea of his medical history and how important it is that his mother accompanies him to the back. At that point I was told if I do not turn around and leave I ... read more
