Having used this firm for conveyancing, I can only give you this simple piece of advice: DO NOT USE ABBOT & CO. I read some negative reviews before I started my house sale and thought, "how bad can they be?" Wouldn't use again ignored emails and phone calls.and I belive have ripped me off I have spoken to the legal ombudsman and have contacted the Defendants and the high court regarding this matter.if I was you I'd find a better solicitor.. Promised me a invoice over two months ago still waiting so still don't know how they reckon they have ended up getting paid £25.000 pounds for doing nothing did most of the work myself...ran off with £28.000 pound and two other Solicitors are taking him to court stay away the company are con ... read more

Attended a free advice session, that solicitor was great. Further down the line i contacted them about booking in again, I asked how much and a lady told me it was free and booked me in. Again the session went well and she was really helpful. When I contacted them again, I was told that it would be a 1 hour session and that the price would be £120, happy to go ahead I booked in. I was waiting in reception when a solicitor and one of the office staff were talking making offensive comments about me paying etc - I should have j... read more
