My Aunt has reason to be in Abbeylands for a few months. I cannot describe how bad it was. It broke our hearts to see the shouting and rough treatment she received. She was constantly wet. There was NO mental or physical stimulation. If we had left her there she would have died. I am still traumatised .

Family orientated, very caring commuted team. Like everywhere staff short but go the extra mile to do what they can for residents. Day rooms, bright clean and welcoming, little garden for sitting in the sunshine, sing along s and events when possible.

This place is a very very bad place to live in or even stay in for a week, my mother was in staying for two weeks and they treated her like some prisoner she was ment to go in to get some rest bite and better but came out worse of, while my mother was sleeping she was woken up by two night time carer's one male and one female the male was holding her head while the female was trying to put a SLEEPING TABLET in her mouth while she was SLEEPING?, she could of choked and died, DO NOT SEND ANYONE INTO THIS PLACE PLEASE FOR THERE... read more
