Booked online to view a car, drove 3 hours down to come and view it, the state of the car was shocking nothing like the “nice little motor” that it was advertised as, the car had cleary been resprayed and had orange paint coming through under the black that it was currently painted. The battery was flat on the car when the salesman tried to unlock it, he didn’t even offer or try to get a jump pack. Wasn’t going to leave context to my review but they left a cheeky response to my 1-star review so I’ll write a full 1-star review instead. I sent them a £250 deposit to hold a car for me before viewing (my mistake - first time buyer at the time). Arrived after driving an hour. Car was not in condition as described, convertible roof didn’t even work and the car wasn’t even given a once over, you’d think they do this as I gave a holding deposit just to try and secure the sale. Be wary of dealing with this company. We bought a car from them and there were a number of problems. First they told us it had MOT for 11 months but we later discovered it was only for 2 months. They said it had 1 previous owner - found out later it had 5! They "lost" the log book and didn't have a copy of the latest MOT. The phone number they gave us was a fake and the number on their website just goes to voicemail - they don't return calls. Searching for ages to find the car i wanted and finally found it at A5 cars. Brandon was brilliant very honest and clear from the outset that they had misplaced the service history and gave me a great deal on my px. Car was given a new MOT and all fine. Fast forward 3 months and I get a call from Brandon to tell me they found the history... chuffed to bits... would definitely recommend.
What can I say Chris at a5 is who I dealt with and what a lovely helpful and honest man , I cannot fault any of the dealings I have had with this garage I bought a cheap little mini off them and I am thoroughly happy with the purchase I had bought it as my normal day car had blew the cam shaft so I needed a cheap run around and I have to say I am totally overwhelmed how happy the service and the car was
