While the service was performed professionally, the promise to send me supporting documents was not kept.I had to call the company two times to get written clarification of the invoice cost and warranty coverage for which we paid.Seems to me that this company is over extended and cannot follow through with promises made. Consider another provider for service.R S

Recently I had an issue with my garage door. After calling a local company that claimed same day repair, I was told it would be two days before they could come out for the job. Then I called Armstrong Garage Door. They were able to come the next morning. The tech was "Rocky". He was prompt , polite and left the area clean. He answered all my questions and recommended to change out the rollers for smoother opening. They were quite old. Took his advice and the sound of opening and closing is so much better. Very shady sales practices and a waste of my time. I called them yesterday to set up an appointment and asked all the costs just for them to come out to fix my garage motor. The person on the line told me $25 which I thought was odd, but still scheduled. They were very prompt, but from the very beginning what was told on the phone was very different from the pricing when they came. Jeff, representing Armstrong Door arrived early for appointment to replace my garage door. He called, told me his arrival time would be 8am. The installation went well and all old parts were hauled away. I am very satisfied. To backtrack...a few weeks ago on a Saturday morning, the wire snapped and I could not remove my car. I have been a loyal customer of Armstrong Garage Door since 2007. Their office staff is respectful and knowledgeable and personally answer the phone. Their technicians are professional, courteous and arrive within the agreed time frame, giving a heads-up call when they are on their way. I had a new garage door, springs, rails and opener installed on June 4, 2021. Jeff and Jason arrived early in the morning and completed the job in a timely manner. This company simply trespassing my property, and started to remove my gate without I order for it. Luckily I arrived at my house in time and told the employees that they were doing the work in the wrong place, they went back to installing the gate that had already been removed, but the gate was damaged/scratched, requiring a new painting. The same was done and the company has not reimbursed the amount so far, the worst was after contacting the owner of the company, who was extremely stupid and ignorant.

Do yourself a favor and hire *** other garage door company. The experience I've had with A1 Garage Door has been exceptionably horrible. This review is really a 0 star review. I had them change out the motor in one of my rental properties. After the install, the door would not close. The tech came out and adjusted the door. Then the door started opening by itself, which led to a theft. They sent out a tech to fix the issue and charged a $95 service fee.
