We apologize for your experience and we would be happy to discuss with you how we can correct it. However, we do not charge by the hour at all, so it seems there was some miscommunication here. All of our labor is a flat rate.
My garage door would not open more then 10 inches. I called Armstrong Garage Door, Inc. and they sent out Jeff. He took one look and knew what the problem was ( broken spring) had it fixed in no time. Jeff was very good at explaining why it broke ( they last between 6-10 years, and they had replaced mine 8 years ago). I guess I will call them in another 8 years.
Having Rocky come out every year is a Blessing; he knows his job and is Excellent at what he does...He is a Big reason we have stayed with Armstrong over 8 years...Love that they call every year for maintenance also....

On 10/31/22 my garage door springs and spring pad were replaced costing around $1500. On April 8, 2023 the garage door was slamming shut when I closed it. ****** replaced the springs because they both need to be large instead of one small and one large. He said he had to reset motor 30 times in which then the garage door wouldn't close. He said motor overheated. Finally it closed. I let it sit for a day not using it but it continue not to close again. ***** came out 4/11/23 and tested it but was working fine. He said it was ... read more
