The installer told me that the garage door springs had a 10 year warranty and 5 years service but the invoice states only 5 years on springs and 30 days on service. Very deceptive salesmanship.

I had a spring snap and I called the company that had installed the garage door to have them come out and replace the springs, they told me it would be 10 days before they could come out I explained my car was inside the garage, the lady said she was sorry but it would still be 10 days before they could come out. ( that company was ****** ****** ****)I then called A1 Garage Door Service and within two hours I had a service technician knocking on my door. I scheduled service to get springs adjusted which are only 2-3 years old. When service crew arrived they stated company policy is they can't adjust springs older than 2 years. I paid $124 for 2 quick roller installs and a few quick squirts of silicone spray. Now I need to pay another company to adjust springs that I thought told A1 was the purpose of my service call appointment. if you need garage door springs adjusted, call another company unless you want to spend $1K for new springs installed by A1

I decided I had enough lifting the garage door every time I wanted to drive in and out of the garage. I called A1 Garage Door Service. They were able to schedule me that day, Saturday.It didn't turn out to be an easy job. Payten stuck with it and after about four hours finally got the old door working electronically with no extra charge. I would definitely recommend Payten and A1 Garage Door Service.
