I have to tell you, I have always been afraid to take my cars to mechanics because most of the time I get hosed and don't know it. This is the place to go for an honest mechanic!! Elmhurst Auto Clinic tried to scam me, telling me my brakes were bad and the car was unsafe to drive. My boyfriend recommended that I come here for a second opinion. So glad I did! The owner was very friendly and confirmed that everything was fine with my car. I have brought my car to A to Z a couple of times. Rob the manager is straightforward and honest. I have complete confidence in his diagnosis as he seems incredibly knowledgeable and experienced. With the first issue I had, he did a great job at explaining the problem and the solution. I brought my car to him a second time with an issue I was having where I was convinced my broken radio was draining my battery. I've been going to A to Z for nearly a year and it is the best shop I've dealt with in over 40 years of owning a car. If I could give them SIX stars, I would! Recently I brought my vehicle in because it was dripping some fluid and after diagnosing the problem Robert, the owner/operator told me that he would repair at no cost to me. 10 months ago they'd put in a rebuilt trans for my Saturn VUE and it was still under the 1 year or 12,000 mile warranty. HONEST!! It's hard to put your faith in service providers. A to Z and Robert has earned my business! They could have charged me more, but they treated me fairly instead. My heat went out on one of the coldest days this year. Robert was great! He had the car fixed in no time at a great price. I have officially changed mechanics. Do yourself a favor and check out A to Z.
I am from Canada and through Ebay Motors, bought a 1969 Dodge Charger that was located in Villa Park. I was unable to fly down to inspect it due to other commitments so I hired A to Z to inspect the car for me. Bill (who is a master mechanic and fellow car buff) went over to the dealer on short notice to give the car a thorough inspection and sent me the pictures back that I requested.
